As COVID-19 is impacting businesses and organizations across the world, implementing solutions to help protect their customers and employees while complying with the guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is a top priority.
COVID-19 Response Plan
All organizations need to consider how best to decrease the spread of COVID-19, including strategies to reduce transmission between employees and customers, maintain healthy business operations, and maintain a healthy work environment.
A thoroughly cleaned and disinfected facility provides the following benefits:
➔ Reduced possibility of catching COVID-19 and other illnesses including colds, the flu, and stomach infections
➔ Reduced absenteeism
➔ Increased confidence and morale of employees and customers
The most effective disinfecting technology available
At Zera we use an Electrostatic Disinfection process to apply the disinfectant with a low-pressure sprayer that generates a very fine mist. The droplets in this mist are electrically charged with a negative charge as they leave the nozzle. Since most objects (including buildings, vehicles and furniture) naturally possess a positive charge, the negatively charged particles are attracted to the objects being sprayed and bind to them in a uniform pattern, covering the object completely, including hard to reach surfaces. This technology has been used extensively in medical, commercial and office settings with excellent results.
Safe and Powerful Disinfectant
We also use KaiBosh – a concentrated no-rinse Hospital Use disinfectant cleaner for COVID-19 (Coronavirus), Norovirus, Bird & Swine Flu and more. The CDC recommends using disinfectants that are included in List N: Disinfectants for Coronavirus (COVID-19), published by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This product is included in List N, and has been found to be effective against COVID-19 at 2 ounces per gallon use level with a 10-minute contact time. If you wish to use an alternative List N disinfectant, let us know. EPA REG. NO. 10324-93-71665
Our Process
We work with our customers to define an application schedule that can range from daily to weekly visits. In addition to the application schedule, our customers can call us if a case is confirmed in their facilities, and we will perform an immediate emergency application. The application lasts about an hour for a medium-sized facility. During this time we request that all staff either l eave the facility or maintain a distance of 20 feet from our personnel. After application,
we recommend a disinfection period of 30 minutes to allow the disinfectant to do its job. In total, the process takes between 1.5 and 2 hours.
Satisfaction Guaranteed
We stand behind our work and our commitment to our clients. Let us know of any problem with our service, and we will make it right, or your money back. Call us now and let Zera help you keep your business safe and open during these unprecedented times.
